The school holiday portfolio sessions are great for young artists who may be needing to create a portfolio of work to apply for Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts, other school CAPA groups or just because they love creating and want to expand or learn new creative skills.
In this session we will be covering: PRINTMAKING
Lino Cut, Foam Board and Solar Powered Printmaking.
Here’s what will be happening on the day
• Single colour foam board printmaking
• Multi-colour seamless tile repeat pattern lino cut printmaking
• Solar powered printmaking on UV paper
Students will leave with multiple prints of each work and will also get to take home their printmaking plates used for each technique. Perfect for showing artistic process in their portfolios.
Anchors Aweigh Art Studio is a safe, functional and relaxed art studio that encourages students to work at their own pace, experiment with mediums and techniques and think outside the box, all under the guidance of our tutors who are professional artists, all with Working With Children checks and extensive experience.
Max 15 students.
This course requires 3 students minimum to run. Full refunds provided if course is cancelled.
Students may stay for the 1hr lunch break (byo lunch) if attending the afternoon Abstract Art workshop.
