The school holiday portfolio sessions are great for young artists who may be needing to create a portfolio of work to apply for Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts, other school CAPA groups or just because they love creating and want to expand or learn new creative skills.
In this session we will be covering: ABSTRACT ART
Splatter Paint, Abstract Aerosol & Paper Marbling.
Here’s what will be happening on the day
• Splatter paint on canvas – it is all about bold colour and knowing when to stop.
• Abstract aerosol art on corflute using dish washing liquid as a resist.
• Paper Marbling – Ancient Japanese art of floating pigments on a water surface.
Students will leave with a canvas board work, a large corflute piece and multiple marbling works on paper.
